the feathers are illusions. Theres a mist between the ground and the upper part of the BG. =P

great posing and design, I think it will be better if you can add a little more lighting to the front leg to "seperate" it from the rear leg

This has to be one of my favorite of your works so far. I really like the more action orientated poses that you have been doing lately and this is a good example of that. The blossoms are very nice as well.
