This guy took a long time to design, I was in an art block while designing him, from start to approval, it took me 6 tries in the time span of about 2 to 3 weeks to make it work. I re-inked it at the final drawing because I didn't like the quality of the previous ink.

coloring wasn't as long as most of them, about 13 hours. These days, 13 hours is really fast for me Y__Y

This is more or less awe inspiring. The slender body combined with this extremely freaky, yet suprising appealing bondage like clothes and the obviosly lethal...lets call them contraptions that form this ones hands and arms give it the certain something that makes this guy seriosly interresting to regard. The cold eyes and the way the most of his face is covered give it...almost something robotic and artificial .If you aimed for an emotionless expression you did an epic job there. Almost as he would be very clear about what he does..whatever that might be. I would not ask for what purpose this guy was designed and so take away my imagination about him, but i dont really see him as villian, its the type of character i can clearly not put into a drawer. If i hear zealot i see hoods and robes, a lot of chaotic elements bunched together with something like...subservience. But this one looks proud to me like "hell yea im this and that and i gonna do this to you and you better belive it." Its refreshing to see something special and unique linked to this zealot theme. The mechanical insects are some extremely cool touch and could in my opinion also look good on their very own painting..that you brought all this together on one picture and managed to unite so many "genres"(if i may call it that way) on a single character alone is a miracle, the next would be that i stared at this picture for the past hour without to be able to say that i saw all details is the next. A moment ago i saw the "square implants" on his skull and i bet i find even more. Well yea to come to a point.. its just amazing what you made there, if i would only have a grain of this talent i would already pleased.

thanks so much for your comment, I have been changing my way of work and in some way i'm really sad that i have to give up some of the amount of details in order to make a more efficient work style. but your comment makes me realize again that all my past efforts, even though they made me loose money, were worth it. thanks again.

I am a true "snob" if it comes to character design and its rare that i look at something and my jaw just falls down cause i "feel" that there is some deeper meaning in that. There are tons of drawings of chars arround the net that show just the same, i call that the "meh... effect". Your art is inspiring..seriosly its like *goes to cheesy mode for a moment* some sort of muse i was seeking for a long time. I hope you dont mind if i make that zealot of yours 3d..with my basic z brush knowledge cause that character demants this so badly XD. Give you of course credits and dont sell that then or stuff..cause its not mine XD. Btw.. i dont dared to look at your other stuff so far, i dont wanna risk my brain go haywire cause of epicness overdrive, but if your zealot already looks so damn badass i dont wanna see what you design with knights or wizards or whatever. I am really glad my comment helps you to continune..and be aware that this was all serios meant..obviosly XD. Money is an important part of live, true without a doubt, but i do think if you love something its worth it and you obviosly love your creations, else they would not look so wonderfull. So yea to come to a point, keep up with your designs and have fun with them like the people who regard them, stuff like this makes the world a little bit better

and have a nice and successfull day.
