But as an Anima Tactics player, I really hope you stick with your current style (and not transition into this sketch style) for your official Anima artwork simply for consistency's sake. If I had to choose between the sketch style or the AT style, I'd always go with the AT style; its very unique in its own right.
I.. I... I... OMG I LOVE YOU EVEN MORE THAN I DID BEFORE.
Thank you so much! ;w;
If it's not too much trouble, would it be possible to have both color schemes right next to each other? I do like the greens (especially the one that's more on the blue side), but magenta is a very important color to Deirdre. <3
i'm really glad you've been branching out to this more organic style. it's a lot more exciting to look at. it would be even cooler to see you go even more gestural with your brush stroke and put in a little organized chaos.
I -really- love this new style of yours wen! I definitely think you should play with it more. I have always loved your sketch work and the detail you capture with it. I was a little sad when you transitioned to your last style that was more matte and smoothed out, and feel like this is in a richer colour way returning to the texture and detail you had in your older works. Two thumbs up from me!
i definately want to put more "imagination" in the actual appearance of the image, so i had been looking at works by Arthur rackham and others who are story book illustrators. my previous style, was mostly inspired by 's models, which is very detailed and clean, it was a very time consuming style, but for the duration i really enjoyed the cleanliness and the detail it brought forth. but i guess i had been slowing growing out of that style, so it has eventually led me to this. =] by the way, do you use skype? @__@ i cant remember if i asked...i think i did
Once you master it a few more doors will open since it is a common textural feel that a lot of game developers like. One tip I would throw out there is changing the angle of the light source so the light isn't so flat frontal that is common in cell shaded style, the new style you are picking up has sharper edges in the strokes and blending so light direction becomes more prominent base of worry.
That's freaking amazing for two reasons bro. The first because of how well it's done obviously and second because you did it for someone's birthday gift. An amazing gift from what i can tell so far an amazing person. Definitely a reason i watch your art brohemoth
