I love the amount of detail you put into both your characters and the backgrounds, but they never seem very unified. The figure usually looks like you finished the character, finished the background separately, put one on top of the other and threw a shadow underneath. I don't get the sense that the character is actually living in the background world you give them, it's just there to keep things from being blank...

I just love her ^_^ she's so cute - only thing that throws it off for me is just compared to the rest of her body her stomach seems really 2D - she is so gorgeous though :3 girl has great fashion sense!
