July OC entry journal and kitty needing a home

My husband and I just moved to San Diego Ca and as we're in the military, our housing options are so limited. And the  house we just got into this coming Monday .. Only allows one pet.. And we lied as we have two.
As I'm going to be getting a job as soon as I can, I won't have enough time to give him as much attention as he needs and deserves (our other is more of a loner )
He -just- had his shots. He's fixed and never sprays. he's somewhere between 7-10 years old but will live for another 7-10 at -least- and despite his age he's still as energetic as day one that we adopted him. He's long haired but keeps himself super clean and fluffy, only a bit of hair ball medicine now and then and he's all good. He does love to play and he's definitely a lap cat, liking to snuggle close for warmth. (Unfortunately he hates our other cat and gets ticked whenever she's near so he doesn't snuggle with me as
the first part would be asking you to submit your original character for a random selection, this can be an image or description, but please keep descriptions short. you will have two weeks to submit your OC(until the 15th of that month) and then 1 OC will be randomly chosen to go into the next part of the event. This part is completely random, everyone has equal chance of getting chosen. This OC can be a completely original creation, or a fan-fic character of existing games or anime. one entry per person please. You may enter one OC every month regardless of your previous winning status. 

this 1 OC becomes the character to be drawn, this will be a contest. the owner of the OC will be the judge of the contest, and the winning artist of the drawing contest will be awarded 1 year of membership on DA. this part is based on the preference of the owner of the OC.  You may enter 1 drawing every month regardless of your previous winning status. 

This isn't a lot for a prize, but if you think this is worth your effort, then do it, if not, nothing is lost.

Event part 1, 60 people submit their character into the : OC entry journal for (month here), lets say OC #20 is picked to be drawn. 

Event part 2, 40 people submit their drawing to the contest of drawing OC #20, owner of OC #20 picks the drawing he/she likes the best, that winning artist gets 1 year of membership on DA.
